As daylight reaches the solar panel, energy is fed back into the battery, reducing the need for manual charging. Battery life depends on shooting frequency, upload settings and network conditions, with indicative operation ranging from 12 days with image uploads enabled to 36 days without uploads when capturing one image every 15 minutes.
Can I monitor the camera remotely?
Yes. The Tikee 4X supports both WiFi and 4G LTE connectivity. Camera status information, image uploads and remote management can be accessed through the myTikee platform, while live streaming and Always ON features are available with a compatible subscription and cellular connection. This platform allows users to check framing, monitor progress and manage cameras without travelling to the installation location.
What image formats does the camera support?
The camera can record JPEG, DNG, or JPEG + DNG simultaneously. JPEG files can be uploaded directly to the cloud for monitoring and project sharing, while DNG files remain stored on the microSD card.
